1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hoople ("the Service"), operated by Hoople Holdings LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hoople is an international basketball statistics, analytics, and scouting intelligence platform. We provide player profiles, career data, AI-generated scouting reports, league hierarchy information, and related tools across 115+ basketball leagues worldwide.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • One account per person — shared or automated accounts are not permitted

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Paid subscriptions (Hoople Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe
  • You may cancel at any time — access continues through the end of your billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice to active subscribers

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from Hoople without written permission
  • Redistribute Hoople data commercially without a license
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Player Profiles & Data Accuracy

Player statistics are aggregated from public sources and may contain errors. AI-generated scouting reports are analytical estimates, not professional evaluations. Hoople does not guarantee the accuracy of any data or projections. Players may request corrections or removal of their profile by contacting us.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on Hoople is owned by Hoople Holdings LLC. The Hoople league hierarchy system, tier classifications, and AI scouting methodology are proprietary. User-submitted content (highlights, profile edits) remains the property of the user with a license granted to Hoople for display purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Hoople is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for decisions made based on our data, including but not limited to player signings, transfers, scholarship offers, or financial decisions.
