Freshman year at Shippensburg. Started every game, shot 54% from the field. The team went 13 wins that season, but the foundation was being laid. From Pittsburgh to a small D2 program in Pennsylvania — the first chapter of a journey nobody could have predicted.
Dustin Sleva is the all-time leading scorer (2,071 points) and rebounder (1,140) in Shippensburg University history — one of only four players in PSAC history to reach both milestones. He signed with Paris Basketball in 2018 when they were a brand-new ProB club. He spent four seasons with Paris, rising with them from France's second division to the top flight. He earned an NBA Summer League invite with the Golden State Warriors in 2022, shooting 5/6 from the field. After a move to Germany's Bundesliga, he joined UCAM Murcia in Spain's Liga ACB and won Rookie of the Year while leading Murcia to the ACB Finals against Real Madrid. The following season, he led Beşiktaş to the Turkish Super League Finals against Fenerbahçe — back-to-back domestic finals in two different countries. In June 2025, he signed with Žalgiris Kaunas to play in the EuroLeague. Two of his great-great-grandparents were from Kaunas.
